The Cinnamon Attila (Attila cinnamomeus) is found in northern South America in the Amazon Basin of Brazil and the Guianas.
It is found in Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana; also Amazonian Ecuador, Peru, and regions of Bolivia. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical swamps.
The Cinnamon Attila has reddish-brown eyes, black bill and grey legs. Its plumage is deep rufous above with no obvious contrast on rump.
This bird feeds on spiders, crustaceans, grasshoppers, locusts, crickets, cicadas, aphids and small amphibians; it also takes fruit.
