Dear Editor,
I would like to bring your attention to some of the deplorable roads that need immediate attention, Westminster and Herstelling housing scheme in particular (photo attached). There are police officers and other government officials who live in these roads.
I want you to know I fully support this government, however it is my civic duty to hold them accountable. The people of Guyana pay their rates and taxes and deserve to drive and walk on proper and clean roads. There are policies in place for the country to only have late model vehicles but do you think I would be able to drive my late model vehicle on such deplorable roads? Are these the roads the children of the future are supposed to walk on to go get an education? Something must be done and done immediately.
Yours faithfully,
Seldon Forde
