Santos FC and Pele FC secured comfortable wins, when the Georgetown Zone of the Frank Watson Memorial U15 Football League continued on Saturday at the Tucville ground.
Santos crushed Riddim Squad 3-0. Raymond Bandav tallied a brace in the fifth and 20th minute, while Tyrese Dowridge added a goal in the 10th minute.
Similarly, Pele downed Masters 2-0. Keron Dazzell and Vishal Sukhu scored in seventh and ninth minute respectively.
Meanwhile, Fruta Conquerors and Eastveldt battled to a 3-3 stalemate. Antonio McArthur bagged a double in the fifth and 18th minute, while Garfield Cesear scored in the 28th minute.
On the other hand, Rohan Apple tallied a hat-trick for Eastveldt in the 22nd, 32nd and 37th minute respectively.
Also, Masters FC edged Black Pearl 3-2.
Mark Cameron, Nikose Gordon and Jeremiah Softleigh scored in the 12th, 29th and 32nd minute apiece.
For the loser, Jivan Graham and Ronalindo Sobers scored in the 48th and 54th minute each. The event will resume today [Tuesday] at the same venue.
