Dear Editor,
I refer to Dr. Mark Devonish’s letter published in the Stabroek News on Saturday, 25th August, 2018. Since Dr. Devonish writes so many letters, I checked him out on the internet. What I found is that the General Medical Council (GMC) of the United Kingdom has him registered with “undertakings”. This means that he was investigated and has to work under supervision. These “undertakings” are active since 2016 according to the GMC website.
Can Dr. Devonish please enlighten the Guyanese people as to what attracted these sanctions from the GMC?
Yours faithfully,
Sarah Williams
