The Demerara Cricket Club (DCC), also known as the “Home of Legends” has sent out congratulations and best wishes to four of their members who will be displaying their skills in the Cricket West Indies (CWI) Regional Super – 50 championships.
The club’s trio of Christopher Barnwell, Trevon Griffith, and Sherfane Rutherford have gained selection to the Guyana Jaguars squad while former West Indies under – 19 player Tevin Imlach has received his maiden call-up to the West Indies B team for the championships.
It is against that backdrop that the club extended their congratulations and according to the release, the club anticipates stellar showing from its members.

“The President and members of the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC), wishes to acknowledge the selection of Christopher Barnwell, Trevon Griffith, and Sherfane Rutherford to the Guyana Jaguars squad for the upcoming Cricket West Indies Reginal Super 50 Championship. We would also like to highlight the inclusion of Tevin Imlach into the West Indies B Team for that very tournament. For Christopher Barnwell and Trevon Griffith, this tournament provides another opportunity to display their undoubted abilities while we hope for the continued exciting emergence of young Sherfane Rutherford on yet another big stage.
We urge Tevin Imlach who is another fine talent and a hard worker, to take this
opportunity with both hands and to solidify a place within the West Indies B structure to enable his development.
