(TRINIDAD GUARDIAN) The son of a former deputy commissioner of police was gunned down in Chaguanas a short while ago.
Details are limited at the moment, but police said Mark “Troublesum Yute” Allard was ambushed and shot by unknown assailants in Lendore Village, Chaguanas, just before 9 pm.
He was rushed to the Chaguanas District Health facility for treatment but died shortly after arrival.
He was the son of retired Deputy Commissioner on Police Oswyn Allard. His killing has taken the murder toll to 409 for the year.
The senior Allard enlisted into the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service in 1965 and retired in April 2007.
