Timehri Panthers, Agricola Red Triangle and Soesdyke Falcons secured lopsided wins when the East Bank Football Association [EBFA] Year-end Qualifiers continued Sunday at the Diamond Community Centre ground.
The Panthers, led by a six-goal blitz from Samuel Steel, downed Hauraruni Eagles 12-1.
The versatile attacker scored in the 28th, 35th, 39th, 42nd, 75th and 78th minute. He was assisted by a hat-trick from Shannon Samnauth in the 11th, 25th and 27th minute. Adding to the score line were Dexter Welcome, John Steele and Rondell Haywood in the seventh, ninth and 57th minute respectively.
Similarly, Agricola demolished Diamond United 8-1. Brian Price recorded a hat-trick in the 21st, 24th and 35th minute while the other goal scorers were Shaquille Baptiste, B. Jabar. David Corrico. Floyd Bynoe and Leon Noel in the fourth, 19th, 25th, 41st amd 53rd minute respectively. The losers tallied a consolation goal in the 43rd minute.
Also, Soesdyke mauled Mocha Champs 4-0. Colin Holder bagged a double in the 42nd and 45th minute, while Tyrone Khan and Mark Barker scored in the 25th and 52nd minute apiece.The event continues on Saturday at the same venue. At 16:00hrs, Kuru-Kururu Warriors will oppose Grove Hi-Tech while Agricola Red Triangle will tackle Soesdyke Falcons from 18:00hrs.
