A suspected bandit was killed earlier this afternoon following a shootout with lawmen.
The shooting occurred at Perth Village, Mahaicony.
While details are sketchy, police commander of ‘C’ division Calvin Brutus confirmed the shooting which resulted in the death of the suspected bandit.
He noted too that investigators have been deployed to the scene.
