An advertisement placed by the Ministry of the Presidency, Depart-ment of Social Cohesion, Culture, Youth and Sport, Institute of Crea-tive Arts in the Stabroek News of October 28, 2018 invited persons to enroll in full-time certified courses, including one leading to a Certificate in Creative Writing.
I wish to really thank this Ministry for focusing attention on a Creative Writing course.
I hope out of this effort by the Ministry, Guyana will see an increase in writers with quality work.
Copyright laws, now being addressed by the Government, to me, is right on time if these laws take into account the protection of the work of our writers from reproduction of their pieces without permission.
