(Trinidad Express) A Sangre Grande woman appeared before a Port of Spain magistrate on allegations of sexual penetration against a 14-year-old boy.
Police said that Shaneeze Muntaz, a 26-year-old nutritionist, was granted $100,000 bail with surety when she appeared before Magistrate Adia Mohammed on Monday.
The matter has been adjourned to December 13.
The offence is alleged to have occurred at Cascadia Hotel, St Ann’s, on July 18.
A report was made by the victim’s mother to the TTPS Child Protection Unit, Port of Spain Division, on September 22, which led to Muntaz’s arrest on Sunday.
Investigations were supervised by Insp Dickson and W/Sgt Moreau, while Cpl McKain laid the charges.
The charges were laid in accordance with the Children Act 2012 Chapter 46:01
