Annandale and Dolphin Secondary secured lopsided wins, when the GuyOil/Tradewind Tankers Under-18 Secondary School Football Championship continued yesterday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.
Annandale crushed Queenstown 3-0. Sean Heywood, Omari Glasgow and Jamar Harrington netted in the ninth, 43rd and 71st minute each
.Meanwhile, Dolphin downed Marian Academy 3-1. Judah Younge, Shamar Welch and Kieron Dazzel scored in the ninth, 29th and 51st minute respectively.
For the loser, Daniel Lowe netted in the 60th minute. The tournament continues today at the same venue. Vergenoegen will battle
Christianburg/Wismar from 14:00hrs, while Uitvlugt takes aim at Queen’s College at 15:45hrs.
The action resumes tomorrow, with Lodge Secondary tackling Marian Academy from 15:30hrs and Charlestown opposing Queenstown at 17:15hrs.
On Thursday at 15:30hrs, Dolphin Secondary matches skill with St. Rose’s High, while Annandale lock horns with the Bishops’ High from 17:15hrs.
