Georgetown Police and Cougars secured hard-fought wins, when the 2nd Annual GT Beer 8-Aside Football Championship continued on Sunday at the All Saints ground, New Amsterdam.
The lawmen edged Wolves 1-0 on sudden death penalty kicks, after regulation time ended 1-1.
Prior to the eventual conclusion, Deon Rodney handed the officers the perfect start, as he broke the deadlock in the first minute of play.
Rodney raced onto a perfectly weighted through pass down the centre of the field, before slotting past the advancing goal-keeper inside the penalty box.
However, Wolves clawed their way back into the contest and snatched the equaliser in the 25th minute compliments of a Kesley Blue strike.
Blue found the back of the net with a well-placed strike, cutting in from the right side and lashing his effort into the far corner.
Meanwhile, Cougars earned their place in the next round, edging Edinburgh Gunners 2-1.
