The Guyana National Broadcasting Authority (GNBA) hopes to recruit a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) before 2019 as former CEO Prudence Lewis-Bhola resigned a few months ago to migrate.
Chairman of the GNBA Leslie Sobers said that the agency is currently seeking a replacement CEO and hopes to do so by January 2019.
Lewis-Bhola served from 26th September, 2016 up to June of this year.
The GNBA vacancy advertisement stated that persons looking to fill the position must have a Master’s Degree- preferably in Law/ Communica-tions/ Broadcasting Man-agement or another related field from a recognized University; with 10 years’ experience in the management of an enterprise or government institution, with more than 25 members of staff.
Attorneys-at- law with relevant experience in practising law for more than five years can also apply.
Specialized training and technical knowledge and experience of broadcasting would be considered an asset.
