Under the Ministry of Public Health, tenders were yesterday opened for the construction of a Polyclinic at North Ruimveldt, Georgetown.
Based on the engineer’s estimate, the health facility is expected to cost $354M.
In addition, bids for the concreting of the surface and drains at the Lusignan Prison holding bay were also opened. Inmates located at the holding bay, in the past, have complained about the condition of the facility.
The bids were opened at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board Boardroom at Main and Urquhart streets.
