A second suspect is in custody for the murder of the man killed on Saturday night at Leopold Street, in Georgetown.
The arrest of the man was confirmed by the police yesterday.
Police said the now deceased man, who has only been identified as ‘Buckman,’ 45, was attacked by a group of men around 11 pm at Leopold and Lombard streets after he stopped buying drugs from them.
He was stabbed multiple times.
After the stabbing, the man was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
The police said that one of the suspects, of Cross Street, Werk-en-Rust, was subsequently arrested.
