Unbeaten sides Grove Hi-Tech and Agricola battled to a 3-3 draw, while Timehri Panthers, Mocha Champs and Swan tallied victories, when the 3rd Annual East Bank Football Association (EBFA)/Ralph Green sponsored Under-11 League continued yesterday.

Hosted at the Diamond Community Centre ground, Agricola raced off to a 3-0 lead as Mikel Morris, Seon Grant and Jonathan Andries each scored in the second, fifth and 10th minute respectively.

However, the Grove unit fought back to earn a share of the spoils as they fashioned three unanswered goals. Jevon Pluck commenced the comeback with an 11th minute conversion, before Jamal Cordis scored two minutes later to make it 3-2.

The comeback was completed in the 21st minute as Joshua Fredericks made his presence felt.

Meanwhile, Timehri Panthers mauled Herstelling Raiders 8-3. Keron Williams amassed a hat-trick in the fourth, eighth and ninth minute, while Omar Sam recorded a hat-trick in the first, 10th and 19th minute.

Adding goals in the second and 20th minute were Shaquelle Caleb and Jaden Tasher respectively. For the loser, Malcolm Hendricks bagged a double in the 13th and 26th minute, while Seon Carmichael scored in the 17th minute.

Similarly, Mocha Champs crushed Friendship 3-0. Matthew Murray registered a double in the ninth and 26th minute, with Matthew Forte contributing a goal in the 14th minute. Swan and Samatta Point/Kaneville defeated Haruruni Eagles and Kuru-Kururu respectively via walkovers.

On the other hand, Diamond Upsetters and Diamond United battled to a 1-1 stalemate.  Timothy Ageday handed Upsetters the lead in the 10th minute, only for Paul McKenzie to equalise in the 24th minute. The event continues on Saturday at the same venue with another round of matches.
