The Lucas Stock Index (LSI) rose 0.64 per cent during the fourth period of trading in November 2018. The stocks of five companies were traded with 82,031 shares changing hands. There were two Climbers and no Tumblers. The stocks of Sterling Products Limited (SPL) rose 11.67 per cent on the sale of 8,551 shares. The stocks of Republic Bank Limited (RBL) also rose 2.28 per cent on the sale of 890 shares. In the meanwhile, the stocks of Banks DIH (DIH), the Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL) and the Guyana Bank for Trade & Industry (BTI) remained unchanged on the sale of 59,090, 13,000 and 500 shares, respectively. The LSI closed at 481.77.
