A tyre repairman who allegedly pulled a firearm on a police officer, was yesterday remanded for allegedly having an unlicensed gun in his possession.
Khayyam Ahmad, 35, on December 1, 2018, allegedly had in his possession a .32 pistol without being the holder of a firearm licence.
Ahmad pleaded not guilty to the charge, which was read to him by Magistrate Fabayo Azore in the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
