Dear Editor,
A friend of mine asked a very cerebrally stimulating question on social media. Would MPs be entitled to lunch, snacks and pay when they walk out of parliament?
Let’s face it. I don’t think any of us plebs know the answer to that mind-boggling question.
But I have a more serious question, the answer of which may have positive cerebellum and cerebrum implications.
When they walk out, are they entitled to Hennessy?
Editor, I would argue that if that privilege (Hennessy) is taken away, you will see how soon they will rush to their posh seats, tumbling over each other in the process, hopefully cracking a few empty skulls, putting some sense in them, get their heads down and focus on the people’s job.
Yours faithfully,
Dr Mark Devonish,
