Grove Hi-Tech, Agricola Red Triangle and Timehri Panthers triumphed over their opponents when the East Bank Football Association (EBFA)/Ralph Green Under-11 League continued yesterday at the Diamond Community Centre ground.
Grove Hi-Tech mauled Kuru-Kururu Warriors 4-0. Jevon Pluck bagged a double in the fifth and 22nd minute, while Jamal Cordis and Joshua Fredericks scored in the second and ninth minute respectively.
Similarly, Agricola Red Triangle blanked Diamond Upsetters 5-0. Jonathan Andries led the rout with a double in the ninth and 29th minute. He was supported by goals from Mekel Morris and Brandon Narine in the 16th and 28th minute. An own goal in the eighth minute opened the scoring.
Also, Timehri Panthers dismissed Diamond United 4-0. Omar Sam tallied a hat-trick in the seventh, 12th and 29th minute, while Jaden Ceres added to the rout in the 19th minute.
Meanwhile, Swan FC needled Mocha Champs 3-2. Anderson Webber and Valentino Andrews scored in the third and 10th minute for the victor, while an own goal in the 18th minute added to the scoreline. For the loser, Matthew Forte and Jihean Lewis scored in the 22nd and 28th minute respectively.
Meantime, Herstelling Raiders defeated Haruruni via walkover, while Friendship and Samatta Point/Kaneville battled to a scoreless draw. The tournament continues on Saturday at the same venue.
