Police on the East Coast of Demerara (ECD) have impounded a vehicle that is suspected to have been used in a hit and run accident, which claimed the life of an Annandale teenager.
Traffic Chief Linden Isles last night confirmed that police ranks were able to impound the minibus, which was found covered in a yard.
Isles explained that based on intelligence gathered, the ranks searched a yard at Mon Repos, ECD, and found two minibuses, including one they believe was involved in the accident.
As a result, he said, a woman who owns one of the minibuses was questioned by ranks.
