Fruta Conquerors and Western Tigers secured contrasting wins when the Guyana Football Federation [GFF] ‘Stag Beer Super 16 Championship’ continued Sunday.
Staged at the Georgetown Football Club [GFC] ground, Bourda, Fruta Conquerors dismantled Berbice FA 6-0. Domini Garnett bagged a hat-trick in the seventh, 17th and 30th minute.
He was assisted by goals from Eon Alleyne, Jermin Junior and Reshawn Ritch in the 20th, 64th and 87th minute respectively.
Meanwhile, Western Tigers needled Guyana Police Force 1-0. Pernell Schultz scored with a penalty kick in the 58th minute. The event continues on Friday at the Golden Grove ground.
At 18:00hrs, Soesdyke Falcons will oppose Ann’s Grove while Victoria Kings battle Buxton Stars from 20:30hrs.
