A miner is now dead after he was allegedly stabbed to death by a Brazilian national, who he was arguing with over bar-b-que sausage on Friday.
The identity of the dead man, who goes by the alias ‘Terrible dog’, remains unknown.
The police confirmed the incident, which occurred around 6 pm on Friday, at Chinese Creek Backdam, Puruni River.
The suspect, a Brazilian chef who is known as “Sushi God”, is currently being sought by the police.
The police said investigations revealed that the men were engaged in a heated argument over the frying of sausage, during which, the suspect allegedly stabbed the man to his chest.
The men were reportedly seen imbibing alcohol prior to the incident.
A team of ranks has since been dispatched to the area to conduct further investigations.
