A picture, it is said, tells a thousand words.
The photograph on the front page of the December 23rd ‘Sunday Stabroek’ edition captioned “Before it all fell apart” of MPs from the governing side in gay abandon as they heckled the opposing side during the debate certainly makes the saying true.
However, shortly after, in an unprecedented move, a different picture emerged, and the laughing side was too stunned to even look across the aisle at those they were only a short while laughing and mocking.
Now who is laughing?
