Former MP Charrandas Persaud has defended his toppling of the APNU+AFC government saying that it has done nothing for Regions Five and Six and he was tired of being a `yes man’.
In a 25-minute-long video on Facebook uploaded on Christmas Day, Persaud who is now in Canada, insisted that he does not regret his decision and he used the occasion to urge the public to stand up against any government that is committing wrongs.
Dressed in a white t-shirt, Persaud after extending Christmas Day greetings detailed the circumstances that led to the events of last Friday’s vote in Parliament as well as the difficulties he faced being an MP.
