Bail was granted for a salesman yesterday after he was accused of having in his possession, 41 grammes of cannabis.
Damien McGregor, 40, was yesterday taken before Magistrate Leron Daly, in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court, where he was asked to lodge bail in the sum of $50,000 to facilitate his release from police custody.
McGregor, a father of two, is charged with the possession of 41 grammes of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking. The accused was arrested on December 29, at Robb Street, where he was allegedly found with the drugs.
McGregor, who was charged with a similar offence two years ago, is scheduled to reappear in court on January 21, 2019.
