The decomposing remains suspected to be of a Sandville, Linden-Soesdyke Highway man were yesterday morning discovered by police at Kuru Kururu Backlands.
The remains are suspected to be those of Trevor Chung, 45, a famer a Sandville, Linden-Soesdyke Highway. His brother Nigel Chung identified him by the clothing he was wearing.
At the time of the discovery, ranks observed that multi-coloured trousers, a green jersey, a dark coloured tope, a pair of brown and cream slippers and a cutlass were found next to the remains.
Police last night said at around 11.30 yesterday morning ranks from the Timehri Police Station were summoned to the scene.
Investigators were told by the brother that Trevor went missing sometime around mid-December.
Investigations are in progress.
