Many of you may have received potted plants as gifts for Christmas, or you may have purchased your own to add to your décor. As is normal during the holiday season, sellers had a wide assortment of both local and foreign, eye-catching plants on display.
Now that you have them, you might be pondering what to do and how to care for these plants. If you know the names you can look them up online using Google. It is likely that most of them would need repotting. Plants are usually sold in small pots which they quickly outgrow.
Choose a pot two sizes larger than you think you need, so as to give the plant enough room to grow. Make sure that the pot has good drainage and use a well-blended potting soil for transplanting.
