Ranks from the Guyana Police Force destroyed 2.5 acres of cannabis in Linden on Thursday. The police, in a statement yesterday, explained that information received led them to a location at Wismar, Linden, where they found the cultivation with about 1,100 plants, measuring 6 inches to a foot in height along with a nursery with about 500 seedlings and a makeshift camp. It was further noted that the plants and camp were photographed before subsequently being destroyed by fire.
