A clerk was yesterday remanded to prison while a bus conductor was granted bail after they were jointly charged with having a large quantity of cannabis in their possession.
Keon Richards, 37, and Collin Joseph, 28, denied the joint charge, which alleged that on January 20th, at South Ruimveldt Park, they had 9.775 kilogrammes of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking in their possession.
The police prosecutor reported that acting on information received, police ranks went to Richards’ residence, where they conducted a search and the cannabis was found in Richards’ bedroom.
