I write with reference to the following article in yesterday’s edition of the Stabroek News, `New US$18M Craig shore base oil venture eyes creation of over 200 jobs’.
As disappointing as it is here is yet another instance of inaccurate reporting by the press. I am the only female in the featured photograph, my name is Sandia Ramnarine and I am the Attorney-at-Law representing Consolidated Supply Management (CSM). I am not the Assistant to Mr.
Anderson as stated in the caption under the said picture.
This gross misrepresentation of information is not acceptable, especially after Mr. Danny Ramnarain introduced me and your reporter on site, Marcelle Thomas was given the opportunity to ask questions.
I therefore request that this be promptly corrected.
