Former national cricketer Azeemul Haniff has been appointed junior coach of Everest Cricket Club effective this month.
Haniff, who represented Guyana for more than a decade, takes over from Latchman Yadram who became unavailable due to other commitments. The new coach, who took up the post Monday, is in charge of the development of the age group U15, U17 and U19 members as well as the female cricketers of the prestigious club.
With the experience of 51 First Class Matches and 13 List A matches under his belt, the left-handed former opening batsman, said he is looking forward to his new role.
