A Coroner’s Inquest is slated to begin by early April to determine culpability in the almost one-year-old fatal shooting of three men, who the police had said were robbers, along the Kingston seawall, in Georgetown.
Stabroek News understands that the inquest, which was ordered by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) last April, is among those listed to be heard in the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court 7.
In late April last year, the then acting Commissioner of Police David Ramnarine had confirmed that the DPP advised that an inquest be held into the killings.
