A man was yesterday charged with violating a restraining order against him that was granted to his wife.
Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan read the charge to Vaughn Felix in George-town. It was alleged that on February 11th, at Robb and King streets, Felix breached a protection order that was granted by Principal Magistrate Judy Latchman.
The police say that Felix was seen within a certain distance of his wife although he was prohibited by the order. Felix’s wife took pictures of him and said that he looked at her and she was afraid.
Felix pleaded not guilty to the charge.
After Police Prosecutor Neville Jeffers had no objections to bail being granted, Felix was asked to post $10,000 for his release, with the condition that he attend counselling sessions. The matter was adjourned until today.
