Police in Jamaica say a Delaware native was murdered in Jamaica saturday night, according to a report on CBS Philly.
43-year-old Timothy Harper was shot and killed, and police are now searching for his killer. Harper was a dual citizen and his wife works in Jamaica.
Reports are that Harper was picking his wife up from work around 9pm when a man approached his vehicle and opened fire. Police found Harper with several gunshot wounds to his chest.
He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
“I’m shattered, I mean he’s been one of my friends since the early 90s, like we’ve been close, close friends and it’s horrifying,” friend Andrew Johnson said.
Harper had two children.
Detectives do not have any suspects in the murder at this point.
