First-division cricket action in the city will bowl off for the first time in 2019 on Saturday.
The lone First Division fixture will feature a contest between last year’s runners up, the Police Sports Club (PSC) at home against the Malteenoes Sports Club (MSC) in the GISE Star Party Rental First Division two-day tournament. That match will bowl off from 9:30hrs.
Meanwhile, Second Division action will see GNIC hosting the University of Guyana (UG) in the final round of the New Building Society (NBS) 40-over tournament from 11:00hrs.
Saturday’s action in the Noble House Seafoods under – 19 Generation Next tournament will see the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) taking on MSC, the Muslim Youth Organisation (MYO) host Everest, while the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) will battle against the Transport Sports Club (TSC) at DCC.
Sunday will see Eco Champs taking on GNIC at GNIC, DCC hosting the Gandhi Youth Organization (GYO) while Queen’s College will take on TSC at GYO. Action in those fixtures bowls off from 9:30hrs.
