The Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company (GTT) will on March 8th launch its first live chat forum, dubbed ‘Real Talk’, as a means of stepping up engagement with its customers.
In a press release from the company, it was noted that the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Justin Nedd, shed light on the development during an exclusive interview with Emerald Digital Production.
The live chat session, which will be facilitated through GTT’s Facebook page, is meant to provide transparency and open dialogue with customers, keeping them informed about topics such as liberalisation of the telecoms sector, the company’s roll out of its Blaze internet service and other related matters, the release stated.
The session is to be held monthly, with the first one scheduled for 2 pm on March 8th.
The release said that Nedd reminded that the company’s vision is to improve the experiences of customers by “unlocking innovation through applications and infrastructure to every home and business.”
He also noted that GTT, in its promise to “do more” for customers, has been changing the way it interacts with patrons. “Our [Vice President] of Customer Experience, Orson Ferguson, and the team are doing a great job by doing pulse checks via customer surveys, sending gentle reminders on bill payments, sharing product information as well as helpful tips on services,” Nedd reportedly stated.
