F Division-A, Presidential Guard, A Division-A and C Division recorded lopsided wins when the Guyana Police Force Inter-Division/Branch 5-a-side Football Championship continued on Wednesday at the Eve Leary ground.
F Division-A mauled Immigration by a 3-0 scoreline. Similarly, Presidential Guard brushed aside Transport 2-0, while C-Division made light work of Felix Austin-A 2-0.
Also, A Division-A dismantled Transport 3-1. Meanwhile, S.W.A.T downed T.S.U. 2-1, while D Division-B needled T.S.U. 1-0 and D Division-A squeaked past Traffic HQ 1-0.
The winner of the event will pocket $100,000 and the championship trophy. The runner-up and third place finisher will pocket $50,000 and $25,000 respectively and the corresponding accolade.
The Best Dressed Team will also receive $10,000. On the individual side, the Most Valuable Player will receive $10,000, with the Highest Goal Scorer also walking away with $10,000.
