Delivering a blessing: Following the success of a similar enterprise in Trinidad, Indian businessman Nitin Mehra and his son Karan have have opened the Vivaanta Ayurvedic Spa and Hair Salon on Church Street in Georgetown. Speaking at the opening yesterday, Mehra noted that while the Salon will offer popular beauty treatments such as hair styling, the basic concept of the enterprise is Ayurveda which is an “ancient therapeutic science” originating in India, based on the use of natural products to relieve the physical manifestations of stress and strains.
