Dear Editor,
I have attended two sessions of ‘discussion’ in Guyana on the boom to come in ‘Oil Dorado’. People posture, nobody listens.
I have a simple suggestion: a monthly Oil Dorado big conversation, same place and time each month. Just one speaker, plenty of debate. The nation needs to have a long overdue discussion on what to do about the vast oil reserves and what to do with the vast oil revenues. Less talk, more strategy.
Over to the movers and shakers to make it happen.
Yours faithfully,
John ‘Bill Cotton/Reform’ Mair
