After losing two games on the trot, Guyana find themselves needing to win their third round clash in the Cricket West Indies Colonial Insurance Regional women’s Super50 against Leeward Islands today at the Enmore Community Centre ground.
Despite a century from their captain, Shemaine Campbelle, Guyana failed to defend 242 against Jamaica while in their first match, Trinidad and Tobago’s bowlers limited them to 150 in a chase of 222.
Speaking with this publication, Campbelle remained positive about her team’s chances in the competition, saying “you know cricket is all about a learning experience, we just got to stay focus and just go hard in the next game, taking nothing for granted.”
