Off-spinner Leandra Ramdeen and the consistent Reniece Boyce yesterday spearheaded another win for title contenders Trinidad and Tobago in the ongoing Cricket West Indies (CWI) Colonial Medical Insurance Women’s Super50 Cup at Everest as they defeated Jamaica by four wickets to extend their unbeaten run.
Trinidad, after winning the toss and electing to field, bundled out Jamaica for 115 in 29.5 overs with Ramdeen bagging 4-35. Fellow off-spinner Karishma Ramharack took 3-19 and Anisa Mohammed 2-27.
Only Tameka Stanford (24) got an innings going for Jamaica in what was a disappointing batting effort.
