High Commissioner (Designate) of the Republic of Botswana, Tebogo Lily Motshome (left) yesterday called on Vice President and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Carl B. Greenidge. A release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that they discussed areas of mutual interest, particularly collaboration in education. Motshome expressed appreciation for the number of trained Guyanese teachers and public servants who have been sent to Botswana in the past few years. She will present her letters of credence on March 27, 2019. Guyana and Botswana established formal diplomatic relations on October 28, 1975.
