The Muslim Youth Organisation (MYO) on Sunday defeated Ace Warriors by 10-wickets in the latest round of the Noble House Seafoods second-division two-day cricket competition at the MYO ground, Woolford Avenue.
On Saturday, Ace Warriors won the toss, batted, and were bundled out for 89 inside 23 overs.
Joshua Gardner and Bryion Bowen took all 10 wickets with Gardner taking 6-36 and Bowen 4-33.
MYO, in reply, secured a 130-run lead after they were dismissed for 219 inside 40 overs. Khemraj Ramdeen eased his way to 12 fours in the top score of 59.
Davendra Lall captured 4-39 for Ace Warriors, who, batting a second time on day one, ended on 97-5 with Rawl Enmore unbeaten on 60.
Shaffiek Ishmael took four of the five wickets to tumble.
Ace Warriors on Sunday added a further 67 runs to their overnight score, dismissed for 162. Enmore went on to record three figures ending on 109. He struck 14 fours and five sixes.
Anthony King captured 4-32 to support Ishmael’s (4-35) day one effort.
MYO, needing 33 runs to win, coasted home without losing a wicket.
