The Guyana Police Force (GPF) is looking for a man who allegedly chopped a teenager to his forehead on last Tuesday night after the two had an argument over a woman earlier in the day.
According to a GPF statement, 19-year-old Zamaul Bobb, of G 40 Canvas City, Wismar, Linden, was attacked around 10.30 pm by a man who was identified and was being sought.
Bobb and the perpetrator were reportedly involved in an argument earlier in the day over the woman and the dispute was resolved by the young man’s father. However, later in the night, the police said the perpetrator approached Bobb around the Canvas City Nursery and inflicted a wound to his forehead with a cutlass before fleeing.
Bobb was subsequently rushed to the Linden Hospital Complex.
