The trial of Junior Anthony Henry, also called ‘Oswald,’ for the 2013 killing of Michael Hamilton commenced yesterday morning before Justice James Bovell-Drakes and a 12-member jury at the High Court in Georgetown.
The charge against Henry, who has pleaded not guilty, alleges that on October 7th, 2013 at Sparendaam, East Coast Demerara, he murdered Hamilton, also known as ‘Mickel.’
Prosecutor Tiffini Lyken, who is leading the state’s case in association with Sarah Martin, has so far called four of her 11 witnesses to the stand. The trial continues this morning at 9.
Henry is being represented by attorney Lyndon Amsterdam.
