BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, CMC – Legal counsel for the recently-sacked Cricket West Indies selection panel, Tony Astaphan, has slammed comments by Cricket West Indies president Ricky Skerritt regarding their removal, and also plans to challenge the manner of their dismissal in court.

CCJ rules for Dominican brothers against CLICO

The Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) yesterday directed the Judicial Manager of the Clico International Life Insurance Limited (CLICO), to recognise and pay a debt of EC$1,423,329.46 to Octavius John and Laurent John of Dominica, within ten days of the Court’s judgment.

Sophia man charged with stealing $1M in property from EPA

A Sophia resident was yesterday remanded to prison after he was accused of stealing $1 million in property belonging to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) It is alleged that Mark Bynoe, between February 13th and February 14th, at Ganges Street, Sophia, stole a Myers pressure pump and a Myers pressure tank, both valued at $500,000 each, property of the EPA.
