As the Guyana Hockey Board (GHB) sponsored Bounty Paper and Solo Drink under – 20 and second division leagues take a pause in observance of the Easter weekend, we take a look at the early points leaders at the conclusion of the first few founds.
Atop the points board in three of the four leagues is Club GCC who is coasting along and in line to record a sweep.
The club heads the points table in the both boys and girls under – 20 leagues.
The boys category reflects a three-point lead for GCC Pitbulls who are ahead of YMCA Old Fort (OF) Ballerz (7 points), SHC Samurai (3 points), SHC Storm (3 points) and YMCA OF Generals who are yet to get off the mark.
In the girls under – 20 league, Bingo GCC Spartans leads the way with six points ahead of Saints (3 points), YMCA OF Bellas (1 point) and GCC Her-ricanes (1 point).
Meanwhile after three rounds of the men’s second division league, GCC The Sequel is tied atop the points board along with SHC Savages on seven points while Bounty GCC sits in the third position on four points.
Saints, on the other hand, lead the women’s division with six points after two rounds followed by GBTI GCC (3 points) while Spartans and OF Wild Cats both have a point and sit at bottom of the points table.
The league will resume this weekend.
