Troy Mendonca, Co-Director of the Petra Organisation said, “Over the years, we would have enjoyed a very good working relationship with the officials of Top Brandz Distributors obviously to be here for the fourth year.”
According to Mendonca, “There are a lot of players from clubs that went over to wards and there are a lot of clubs that want to participate under their structure and so we thought it a good idea or platform to see the ward teams play against what we call the structured clubs.”
He further revealed that players will be allowed to play for either clubs or wards, as there will be no restrictions on their participation.
Meanwhile, Corona Brand Manager Colin Stuart said that the company has always been supportive of sports locally and is pleased to continue their association with the tournament.
Winner of the event pockets $500,000 and the championship trophy, while the second, third and fourth place finishers will collect $250,000, $125,000 and $75,000 each respectively and the corresponding trophy.
