Beacon Foundation in collaboration with the Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) have joined forces to stage a `Help The Fight’ three team T20 tournament today at Albion Sports Complex, Berbice.
The one-day event will be contested among the host who will hassle, Rose Hall Town and Young warriors. The first ball bowls off from 09:00hrs, with an admission cost of 500 dollars for spectators to view some of Guyana’s top players go head to head for a noble cause.
Beacon Foundation, which initiated the event in aid of using sports to tackle cancer, has been in operation in Guyana since 1986.
